Conformance

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the standard widely used as a benchmark for accessible websites. We believe it currently meets the large majority of Level AA criteria.

What we've done

• —Semantic, structured HTML, with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
• —A “skip to content” link, and visible keyboard focus indicators on everything interactive.
• —Full keyboard operation — including the navigation menu and the video player, which move focus into themselves when opened, keep focus within while open, and close with the Escape key.
• —Text and interface colours checked for WCAG AA contrast against the dark background.
• —Descriptive alternative text on images.
• —Respect for the “reduced motion” system setting — the background video and the auto-advancing testimonials don't animate for people who prefer reduced motion, and the testimonials can also be paused manually.
• —Clearly labelled form fields with built-in validation and error messages.

Known limitations

Some content comes from third parties. Our portfolio videos play through YouTube's embedded player, which has its own accessibility behaviour outside our control — we load it only when you choose to play a video, and present it in an accessible dialog. If you have trouble with an embedded video, the same films can usually be found directly on YouTube.
